Student Government Association (SGA)!
"It is our mission to
provide a means for student's to voice their concerns and needs. The
student government of Penn State Wilkes-Barre strives to improve the
overall student life."
As SGA we will serve as the sole legislative student body in all matters imperative to the welfare and best interest of the students of Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
The SGA shall act as the advisory and consultative body to
all chartered student organizations and clubs on matters referencing
PSU’s Policies and Rules for Student Clubs and Organizations and
enforcement of such policy and rules. The SGA shall act as the
advisory and consultative body determining fund disbursement and
management of all financial transactions through the SGA treasury,
as per PSU’s SGA Fiscal Policy and Procedures Manuel.
The SGA provides and coordinates appropriate services for the students and sponsors activities or observances which encourage and allow the fullest expression of the student opinion on contemporary, social, economic, political, and educational questions and issues.
The SGA serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas among members of the student body.
The SGA is Penn State and we are here for you!
